Who Are We?
We are Neumann Process Control, Inc., a business of technicians and engineers in Eugene, Oregon.

We provide technical services to factories that manufacture building products such as plywood and gypsum wallboard.

We have expertise in Process Control, Automation, Industrial Combustion and Energy Optimization. Our projects include such things as designing and implementing industrial control systems, designing and commissioning natural gas burners and flame safety systems, and manufacturing of replacement parts that are used in the industries that we serve.

We value innovative thinking, and our business has invented and introduced a variety of products and technologies into the industries that we serve. As a team, we strive to set the highest standards of integrity and mutual respect for each other, for our customers and for the businesses that serve ours.
We are a small business, so everyone on our team enjoys the opportunity to do a variety of different things. For the right person joining our team, there is plenty of opportunity to contribute, to learn and to grow.
Who Are You?
Foremost, we value character. If you want to join our team, you must be positive, patient, humble, motivated, honest and accountable. You must stay calm when things around you are moving fast. In other words, you would need to be they type of person that is great to work with.
Secondly, we value the ability to think critically and learn. If you want to join our team, you must be curious and eager to learn, you must naturally form and test hypotheses, you must be able to solve complex problems and you would need to recognize when you are at the limit of your understanding. You need to be an exceptional thinker.
Thirdly, we value practical hands-on experience. If you want to join our team, you must have experience designing, building or fixing things. You would need to bring some experience in the following categories:

With design experience, we value control system design, process design, electrical design, software design and programming, combustion system design, mechanical design, hydraulic design, CAD, 3D modeling, prototyping and research and development.

With building things, we value experience with reading and interpreting prints, assembling electronics and electrical systems, mechanical assembly, welding, manual machining, CNC machining and prototype building.

With fixing things, we value experience in mechanical process optimization, chemical process optimization, software debugging, combustion system optimization, mechanical troubleshooting and repair and electrical troubleshooting and repair.
Finally, we value education. We would welcome any addition to our team that is well qualified in the three areas described above. If you also have an engineering degree or relevant course work, you would have plenty of challenging opportunity to use your education.
